Dental Misery!!

I wanted to jump on here and let all of you know that I am still alive and have not fallen off the face of the Earth :-)

Actually, I had one of the worst days I have ever had at any medical facility on Thursday...just to give you a little clue...I was in the Dentist chair at 8:00 am and by 2:00 pm the dentist was calling an oral surgeon to see me by 4:00!

Oh, ya...and I finished my sock I was working on by 9:30 so I had NOTHING to work on for all that time!!!

Kickin' my A**!!

**Sorry, too tired to write something different so I cut and pasted from the blog...Sorry**

I don't know what I have but my body feels like crap! My head is cloudy, my nose is stuffy, my throat is scratchy, and the cough...the cough sounds like I smoke 3 packs a day! (I don't smoke btw!) Some body put me out of my misery!

Worst yet, I can't seem to keep my eyes open long enough to get any knitting done! I know, I know, knit with my eyes closed...but my fingers don't seem to know what they are doing right now. Like they have been taken over by the bug too. Aughhh!

Anyway, thought I should get on here and let you all know where the heck I am. Don't worry I will be back soon (if this damn medicine will ever kick in!)

What can we win? First place winner will receive 1 copy of the tank pattern along with 4 hanks of Blue Sky Dyed Cotton in their choice of colors (I like Chocolate Brown)! Second & third place winners will each receive a copy of the pattern and whatever other goodies happen to jump into the package just before sealing and sending!

Summer Knitting (or related to knitting) Goals 2007

1. Jill and I will have our website up and running efficiently by mid June!
   
2. I will have patterns written for at least 6 more purses/bags!
3. A book proposal will be submitted by the end of summer!
4. Finish (and start) the PeaPod Sweater!
5. Socks, Socks, Socks! Want to knit more socks...I don't care how many
6. Keep the podcast Fun and Entertaining
7. Knit Caden a sweater for his first year of pre-school in the fall.
8. Knit Allura a sweater for Kindergarten in the fall.
9. Teach John (yes, my husband) how to knit...long story that I will explain very soon.
10. Crochet a baby blanket for my best friend who is having her fist baby (a little girl).
11. Crochet a baby sweater and booties to match baby blanket!

Ever get excited when you have a brush with greatness? For some it may be the Pope, for others it may be the President, but for Knitters and Crocheters...it is when a knitting/crochet designer/author crosses our path! Nothing like a little lovin' to make us screech like a little girl! I am not crazy, honestly, I am NOT crazy!

KAL and CAL Podcast Rumble:
I have been talking with Shannon and Stephanie of the SSK podcast about a Podcast Rumble. And they have said that they think it would be a lot of fun. We haven't settled on any details so more information on all of this later! I promise...soon!
