Sheryl Thies: Tunisian Crochet...

Such a good time talking with Sheryl on today's podcast.  She is a wonderful bi-crafty lady who has some real design talent :-) Her three books are Ocean Breezes, Nature's Wrapture and Get Hooked on Tunisian Crochet.  All three are available on Amazon.com.

You can find more of Sheryl's designs on her Ravelry designer page here.

If you didn't get a chance to listen live, don't worry!  As always, all Yarn Thing Podcast shows are archived for your listening pleasure at your convenience!  So be sure to catch up on any that you might have missed.

Also, there is a Yarn Thing Podcast app available on Droid and iTunes so if you want to keep up to date with the show that is another option.  (side note: if you have suggestions on how to make the app better I would love to hear that!)

Catch you on the next show!

I've made a couple projects in Tunisian crochet entrelac, both taking a different approach. Sheryl's method sounds very interesting looking forward to trying it.

I just listened to this podcast episode and I really enjoyed your interview with Sheryl! Many years ago I made a Tunisian crochet sheep! If I remember correctly you had to pull an extra loop of yarn in each stitch to make the sheep's wool. I also like the idea of knit entrelac, but I'm not much of a knitter... so I'd love to try Sheryl's crochet method. Thanks for the great podcasts Marly!
